The Mustang Heritage Foundation, a nonprofit organization, seeks an experienced, full-time individual for Program & Event Support Position

Location: Georgetown, Texas
Salary: $32,500 annual starting salary. Insurance not provided. Non-negotiable.
Position available: Immediately.
Summary of the Job:
Work closely with program and event directors to assist in maintenance and execution of Mustang Heritage Foundation programs and events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Provide support for events and programs as requested which may include but is not limited to the following tasks:
a. Assist event directors with planning and execution of events (i.e. Extreme Mustang Makeover);
b. Assist program directors with maintenance and further development of programs (i.e. Trainer Incentive Program, membership program, etc.);
c. Provide daily support by taking/screening/directing telephone calls and relaying messages;
d. Organize/load/unload MHF cargo trailer;
e. Inventory/ship event and program supplies;
f. Film competition elements and interview trainers at events to provide video footage for You Tube and Facebook movie creation.
g. Assist with other components as requested (i.e. trainer communication, packet organization, information collection, record keeping, etc.)


2. Assist with the maintenance of other events and programs as requested.

3. Respond to emails and phone calls from team members, trainers and the public in a professional, accurate and timely manner.

4. Attend meetings and events, as requested, which may require driving and overnight travel.

5. Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be 21 years of age or older;
· Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university;
· Relocation to Georgetown, Texas area by hire date to start employment;
· Final hire to be completed following a background and reference check and a paid 6-week probation period.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Good work ethic and positive attitude;
· Ability to participate in equine related conversation and have basic horse and/or western lifestyle knowledge. Experienced horseman not required, but must be comfortable around people and horses;
· Effective written and verbal communication, human relations and organizational skills;
· Skill in providing excellent customer service;
· Skill in operating a computer with word processing, database and Excel spreadsheet software;
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail;
· Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion;
· Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality;
· Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with diverse groups of people;
· Ability to plan, organize and work independently, as well as within a team environment; and
· Ability to adapt successfully and quickly to change.
