Steve Kraus, a Certified Journeyman Farrier, will be presenting two seminars. The first seminar, entitled “The Effects of Conformation on Soundness and Performance” will provide a detailed explanation of conformation defects, understanding how to observe them, how they affect your horse, and shoeing solutions to manage them. The second seminar, entitled “The WIDTH Protocol” will review an objective method to determine a horse's needs for hoof care. Shoes or barefoot; the WIDTH protocol contains the criteria to determine which method will work best.
