Second Annual Rolex Central Park Horse Show Donates to Six New York City Charities & Launches Nationwide Equestrian Charity Network

FREE Weekend Morning Exhibitions Available to the Public

New York, NY – September 23, 2015 – The Rolex Central Park Horse Show will begin its multi-day program starting today, September 23, 2015 to Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Wollman Rink. As part of the highly anticipated equestrian event, Mark Bellissimo, Founder of Rolex Central Park Horse Show and CEO of International Equestrian Group, LLC (IEG) announced at a press conference that the show will donate to six various New York City not-for-profit organizations and also launched a major fundraising effort based on creating a nationwide equestrian related charitable directory, using a newly created action figure of the world famous former Olympic Show Jumper George Morris. In addition, Rolex Central Park Horse Show will feature morning weekend exhibitions that are available FREE to the public as a first-come, first-serve basis.

“Each of these charities do incredible work for their communities and help the City of New York in enormous ways,” says Mark Bellissimo. “We wanted to work with local organizations whose missions are dedicated to providing opportunities and advancement to kids, NYC’s law enforcement and the equestrian sport. This year, we chose to work again with Central Park Conservancy, City Parks Foundation, GallopNYC, Mounted Unit/New York Police Foundation, NYC Parks Enforcement Mounted Auxiliary Unit and The Police Athletic League.”

In addition to New York City charities, Mark and Katherine Bellissimo teamed up with Olympic Show Jumper George Morris and Breyer Animal Creations® to create an eight-inch George Morris Action Figure to raise funds for equestrian charities through the new Chronicle Support Network. As part of the Rolex Central Park Horse Show programming, Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27 will feature FREE morning exhibitions, including equestrian demonstrations, hunter schooling, Land Rover Mini-Car driving experience for kids and much more.

“We are also looking forward to offering a variety of free equestrian demonstrations and exhibitions to New Yorkers and visitors around the globe,” says Mark Bellissimo. “At the end of the day, we ultimately want to ensure that the show is accessible to all.”
