North American Quiz Challenge 2015


September 17, 2015 (Lexington, KY) - The 2015 North American Quiz Challenge hosted by the Canadian Pony Club will be held in Calgary, Alberta Canada from October 7th-10th. The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. has been invited to send a team comprised of top placing senior C-level members from this summer’s USPC Championships to Canada to compete in a battle of equine knowledge.

The United States Pony Clubs will be sending Parker Wheeler, H-B HM, C-1 Traditional of Rose City Pony Club (Oregon Region), Hannah Spitzer, H-B HM, C-1 Traditional of Rose City Pony Club (Oregon Region), Katherine Pottorf, H-B HM, C-1 Traditional of Silver Springs Pony Club (Midwest Region), and Erica Doyle, H-B HM, C-2 Traditional of Millbrook Pony Club (New York/Upper Connecticut Region) to compete in the North American Quiz Challenge. Nancy MacIsaac from the Southwest Region will be accompanying the team during their travels.

Quiz is a non-riding team competition where Pony Club members show their knowledge on topics related to the Pony Club Standards of Proficiency, Horse Management, Rally competition rules, knowledge of horse sports and safety.
