Arabian Finish Line Makes Impact at 6th Annual World Arabian Horse Racing Conference (WAHRC)

With 400 delegates from over 80 countries, the World Arabian Horse Racing Conference was held from May 28 through May 30 in Warsaw, Poland. Industry experts were invited to participate in various panels, and Stephanie Corum, editor-in-chief of Arabian Finish Line, was pleased to sit on the Media, PR and Communications panel. The international panel also consisted of Saad Al Masoudi (FR), Jean Claude Allies (FR), Phillip Brannan (UK), Debbie Burt (UK), and Martin Stevens (UK).

Panelists discussed the challenges of keeping radio and print publications viable in the increasingly digital and web-based industry. They also shared ideas on how to improve communication and information sharing among countries to better promote Arabian racing globally.

During the question/comment time, Arabian Finish Line was highly praised by Mr. Khalid Khalifa Al Nabooda, Managing Director of Khalifa Juma Al Nabooda Group of Companies and respected breeder of Arabians from the U.A.E. and Ms Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival, Chairman of the International Federation of Horse Racing Academies (IFHRA), Chairman of Ladies & Apprentice Racing Committees in the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing Authorities (IFAHR). Both commented on the magazine’s excellent reputation and dedication to Arabian racing. “Everyone should subscribe,” remarked Mr. Nabooda.
