Practical Horseman Magazine Seeking Interns

Practical Horseman is seeking interns for its Gaithersburg, MD, office to work alongside the editorial staff.

Candidates should have an equestrian background with a major in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field. Interns can expect to gain knowledge in areas of writing/journalism, editing, social-media strategy and website content management.

Responsibilities/Duties include:
· Writing

· Proofing

· Planning/Attending meetings

· Day-to-day production

· Administrative tasks


Hours are flexible based on availability of intern and class schedule. Interns must be currently enrolled at a university or college. Successful completion of the internship will result in academic credit. This is an un-paid internship.
