May 31, 2020 - State Line Tack® is proud to support the FOURWARD Fund, enabling 4-H, America’s First Education responders, to provide print and virtual educational resources and curriculum to young people in need.
Young people in particular are experiencing a world of uncertainty as they navigate the impact of COVID-19. Fifty-five million school children have been impacted by school closures and need our help, especially the 12 million who do not have internet access in the United States. The FOURWARD Fund will support youth across all communities, with or without internet access, to ensure all kids have access to the necessary resources and meaningful learning opportunities as the crisis grows.
Kids need us now, more than ever.
Nothing can break the bond between a kid and a horse, not even social distancing! The newly created State Line Tack Seclusion Showdown Online Horse Show Series, 4-H Edition, provides 4-H'ers in equine programs across the 4-H system with the opportunity to continue to share their love of horses with a virtual community, even while they may not be able to be near their horse. We want to create an opportunity for kids to show their horses this summer, especially since so many horse shows and events were cancelled.
Seclusion Showdown 4-H Edition will continue all summer, with new sessions beginning every other week. Custom State Line Tack® ribbons will be mailed to the Top 5 in each class, and each class winner will also receive an exclusive State Line Tack® 4-H halter. In addition to active 4-H members, we also have classes each session for 4-H alumni. There is no cost to enter the contest, however we encourage all participants to consider donating to the 4-H FOURWARD Fund in lieu of entry fees.
