Come to beautiful Vermont in August! $10,000 in prize money, a newly added Modified course, plus a new schedule for this year: FEI & Intermediate will run over two days, Friday & Saturday; P-BN will run over three days, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. And as a bonus, stadium jumping will be in the Upwey arena and the ever-popular competitor's party will be back Saturday night!

Take right on Rte 106 before Woodstock Inn south 6 miles to GMHA.From South: I-91 to Ascutney exit 8, Rte 131 west 7 miles to Rte 106 north, 12 miles to GMHA.From East: I-89 north to exit 1 in VT. A $5 entry processing fee will be added to all paper/mail in entries. Entry fee CCI3-S, CCI2-S:$425.00 Entry fee I/P/M: $245.00;T/N/BN: $235.00 Stabling fee: $65.00 per night.Grounds fee: $25.00 per entry for non-stabled horses. Attention US FEI riders:entries for All FEI competitions must be submitted to the FEI though the USEF online entry system. Log on to your USEF account to access the FEI online entry site:https://www.usef.org/forms-pubs/dC-z-cdiPH8/athlete-memo---usef-fei-entry-system or they will not be considered complete. There is no fee to submit an entry through this system. Athletes MUST also enter the event (and pay the entry fees) through the normal entry process. Please also pay close attention to the closing date in the FEI Definite Schedule. Foreign riders need to contact their National Federation. Refunds: scratches received in writing on or before closing date will be refunded minus a $25 office fee. GMHA will not refund credit card fees or EventEntries.com processing fees. No refunds of any fees after closing date. In the event the competition has to cancel, there will be no refunds. Stall fee will be refunded ONLY if stall can be filled.USEA Starter/D&M Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/USEF D&M fee ($30), is not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test. For FEI riders, the IHP fee will also be refunded.
Entries:
Entries and stalls may be limited based on current state and local restrictions. Please note Novice and Beginner Novice entries will be limited. Enter early! You may enter through EventEntries.com or mail paper entry and stable form postmarked on the opening date, use USEA 2023Horse Trials entry form, USEA Signature/Waiver page, GMHA Waiver (found on event webpage at www.gmhainc.org) Coggins test and RABIES (certificate, vaccine record from vet invoice, or titer results w/vet note accepted) and applicable membership card copies, one check per horse/rider combination. Negative Coggins dated after 8/13/2022. Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Divisions will be further divided or combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. NOTE: USEA and USEF fees are not included as part of the entry fee. These association fees must be added to your entry fee, per the itemized Fees Enclosed section of the Entry Form; totaled with the other applicable fees, and sent to the event with your entry. Entries may not be postmarked prior to the opening date. Entry Confirmation status will be posted on www.gmhainc.org and www.area1usea.org. Double entries: Not accepted. Membership: USEA membership required at Beginner Novice Level and above. CCI3-S, CCI2-S, Intermediate and Preliminary entries must be USEF members.CCI3-S, CCI2-S, Intermediate, Preliminary and Modified Competitors (rider, owner, trainer, coach) must submit copies of USEF membership card OR pay USEF show pass fee for each non-member. Exception: Riders and owners are eligible for one Show Pass per competition year; trainers and coaches are no longer eligible to participate under a show pass and must be active USEF members.Fees: Checks will be processed as entries are received. Bring your own pinny for slide in X-C numbers. All changes must be made in writing: mail, fax, or email acceptable. There is a $50 fee for any entry accepted after closing date (if space allows). There will be a $35 change fee for ANY change to an entry after the closing date; ie. change of horse or rider, change of division (if space allows). There is a $35 fee for any bounced checks. Incomplete Entries: $30 incomplete fee for entries that are missing Coggins/Rabies/Signatures after the closing date. CCI3-S and CCI2-S riders and horses must be registered with the FEI. U.S. horses must have a National or FEI passport. All foreign horses must have an FEI passport. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found atwww.usef.org.
