Palm Partnership Training at Fox Grove Farm Has Something for Everyone This Fall

To kick off this fall, Lynn Palm and Cyril Pittion-Rossillon invite horse lovers of all ages to join them Saturday, October 3 at their Fox Grove Farm in Ocala for their annual Open House. From 9 am to 1 pm, Lynn and Cyril will introduce guests to their Palm Partnership Training methods through demonstrations with young horses, a variety of horses working through the natural obstacle trail arena in hand and under saddle and live western dressage tests. Guests can meet famous sons of the legendary QH stallion Rugged Lark. Two of those sons are Rugged Painted Lark, the 2007 Breyerfest model and multiple world champion, Larks Home Run. For those who want to stay longer, visitors can watch horses and riders practice on the natural obstacle course and school their dressage tests for Sunday’s trail challenge and western dressage competition. Ely’s Cuisine will be on site offering breakfast and lunch along with drinks and treats throughout the day. In giving back to the community, there will be a silent auction on display with proceeds going to Hospice of Marion County in the memory of Lynn’s mother, Betty Salvatori.

Once visitors are introduced to the splendor of Fox Grove Farm and the hospitality of Palm and Pittion-Rossillon, they are sure to return. And there are many opportunities for that this fall. After the Trail Challenge and Dressage Competition on Sunday, October 5, next up is the Western Dressage Clinic October 16-17 followed by a Western Dressage Association of Florida High Point eligible schooling competition October 18. October 19-20 Lynn and Cyril teamed with Karen Abbattista, USDF L Graduate and Silver Medalist, will present Discover Western Dressage, a two day symposium for professional instructors, trainers, competitors and judges as well as amateurs who wish to learn about Western Dressage, the fastest growing equine discipline. November 16-20 is the last Customized Program of 2015. The Customized Program is for individuals seeking training in other events or disciplines such as showmanship, driving and training over fences for hunters or equitation. Then this year’s last day of competition for the Trail Challenge and Dressage Series is December 5. After a fun day of competition, series champions will be crowned and special awards will be presented at the evening affair. Sponsors, competitors and their family and friends are welcome to enjoy dinner and music with an evening of fun and friendship.

Whether planning an overnight getaway, joining a week long clinic, stealing away for a three month winter escape or boarding your horse the year round, there is something for everyone at Fox Grove Farm. Riders of all levels on all breeds practicing english, western and dressage, recreational and competitive alike, make up the groups of lifelong friends who have met at Palm Partnership Training lessons, clinics and competitions. They appreciate the comradery enjoyed by those who have a similar passion and respect for their horses and for Palm and Pittion-Rossillon who graciously share their knowledge and experience while creating a safe and fun learning environment.
