J and A RIDING STABLES is a full care boarding and training facility. We offer trail rides, lessons, and good, safe horses for sale. A special “Thanks” to all of our friends for becoming part of our family. Although we train our own horses and are constantly starting young ones, we can occasionally take outside horses for training. Our fee is $850 a month which includes feed. If they have had some previous training and can be ridden but need some work, the cost is $750. We work them 7 days a week and at the end of 30 days, if we’ve miss a day, it is added onto the end of the month. We use mainly Clinton Anderson Methods, which have always worked for us and produces great horses.
*****DISCLAIMER We stand behind each horse we sell and will do our best to advertise them honestly. We strongly recommend that you ride the horse at least 3 times before you make a decision. We appreciate your interest and look forward to hearing from you. We give you a week to have them vet checked and if anything shows up that we were unaware of, we will take them back with a full refund provided they have not foundered or been damaged beyond repair. If they develop some issue after the vet check because of lack of care, too heavy a rider damaging thier feet, or some other illness, do not call us – you take care of the problem – it’s your problem and at no time became ours.

Jeff Davis, Professional Clinician from DownUnder will be doing two clinics this year! Jeff will be doing the intermediate clinic Monday, Sept. 30 – Wednesday October 2nd, following the fundamental clinic – September 27 – 29. Mark your calenders! His March clinic was absolutely awesome and many of the riders are returning this fall.
It looks like the fundamental clinic may be full for now unless Shayla, another professional clinician joins him. The clinic starts at 9 each morning and ends at 5, with extra private help from 7 – 9 in the mornings. The cost is $850 and includes board. You bring your own feed and sawdust. To hold the spot, 1/2 must be paid in advance. Spots fill fast, so sign up now. The clinic can be audited for $20 a day (bring a lawn chair, drinks, and lunch)

We always have some good trail horses or lesson horses for sale. We don’t sell anything that isn’t a perfect fit for you and we make sure that you are happy with any purchases.
Check out our sale page and give us a call. We do on occasion offer free horses in exchange to your agreeing to board the horse at our facility. You can ride as often as you like as long as the board is paid.
