Research Roundup

Researchers at the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine are continuing to find creative solutions to the complex problems that face the welfare of both humans and animals through novel devices, interdisciplinary collaborations and translational approaches to medicine.

OPEN HOUSE, OPEN MINDS: From aspiring veterinarians to alumni to families across the East Coast, #NCStateVetMed welcomed community members far and wide to our annual Open House on Saturday. Students, faculty and staff from across the college volunteered their time to show visitors that anyone can belong in veterinary medicine.

“I’ve always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and where I’m from, we don’t have a lot of places like this that are just open to people to come and see,” guest Shelby Koenig of Maryland says. Browse our photo gallery and relive your favorite moments from 2024`s Open House at the link in our bio.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO. We`re excited to welcome you back to #NCStateVetMed tomorrow, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (rain or shine!) to learn about & experience all things veterinary medicine. The Digital Guidebook, parking information, a full activity list and more are available on our website - using the link in our bio.

Unfortunately, due to the wet conditions and to keep our dogs safe, the dog demonstrations for tomorrow have been canceled. However, there will still be plenty of indoor activities and fun to be had!
