Mill Ridge Farm, founded by Alice Chandler in 1962, has a rich history of raising and selling Thoroughbred racehorses. Today, her legacy shines through in all aspects of the farm, which is led by her son, Headley Bell, and grandson, Price Bell. Our Services
We offer Thoroughbred horse boarding on over 900 acres at our beautiful farm in Lexington, Kentucky. From horse boarding for mares and their foals to fillies and colts during the first two years of their lives, we nurture the growth of these magnificent animals as they fulfill their destinies for potential greatness. We also offer assistance with sales and consulting.

Our Stallions
Oscar Performance, the 2016 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Champion, and Aloha West, the 2021 Breeder’s Cup Sprint Champion, currently stand stud at Mill Ridge Farm.

Our educated and talented staff host tours year-round. We’d love for you to join us in witnessing the true majesty of Thoroughbred racehorses as they grow and gain strength here at Mill Ridge. We book all of our tours through our partner, Horse Country.
Boarding
Mill Ridge is a working farm, and as such, we board broodmares in-foal and with their foals, weanlings, and yearlings. You can learn more here.
