About

Thank you for your interest in Woodford Racing and, most importantly, the sport of Thoroughbred Racing. While there are a number of ways to get in the game, racing partnerships have proven to be the ideal way to maximize reward and minimize risk for your investment. While there are numerous partnerships operating today, none brings the unique access, enjoyment and results that Woodford Racing does.

They say that Thoroughbred Racing is a sport about excitement that comes in 2 minute increments. We believe that what goes on between the races can and should be as exciting as the moment they spring from the starting gate. Our track record proves that on the track – and off – no one rivals the value we offer. We appreciate the opportunity to share our story – and include you in it..

Welcome

Woodford Racing was not born out of necessity. It was born from a strong basis of existing Thoroughbred success through the iconic Lane’s End Farm. This has allowed us to shape our model in the image of the partners’ interests – not just a business bottom line. (Make no mistake, we like to win and return value – and we do.) No one else can claim this, and it gives our offering distinct owner advantages.

Most partnerships seem to want to keep the owners at arm's length; Woodford puts their arms around you. The horses run like you hope they will, but the experience runs beyond what you could ever hope for. It's what makes all the difference.

It is a pleasure to work with Woodford Racing. Bill Farish and Ben Haggin have organized an exceptional approach to participating in the sport.  Nothing is more exciting than cheering for your horse as it charges down the stretch. Woodford provides a fantastic experience.

‐ James B. - St. Louis, Missouri

While visiting Saratoga Race Track in the summer of 2013 I was introduced to Ben Haggin and Bill Farish, I soon became an investor in Woodford IX Stable. Since then, my passion for this sport has grown tremendously. I enjoy everything about the process including breeding, the horse's physical conformation, the sales, viewing early morning workouts and the training right thru to the starting gate. The social side of this sport is great as well, as aided by the outstanding treatment Woodford affords it partners when visiting major tracks. Being a part of Woodford IX followed by Woodford X has been a blast. The excitement one feels when a Woodford horse steps on the track and loads into the Starters Gate ; is "over the top". On yes, the Winner's Circle is pretty damn good also. No matter what level investor one might be, Woodford Racing makes you feel like part of a racing family.

‐ Ed S. - Houston, Texas

Our decision to go to Woodford Racing was based upon the reputation of Bill and Ben. We knew that under their administration we could not go wrong . Being ”Kindergartners”  ourselves in the school of Horsemanship, we have felt to be a part of the family, and everyone has been very eager to answer all of our questions along the way. Everything from training in Ocala to the track at Saratoga, our experience has been nothing less than educational, fun, and thrilling !!!! We are Hooked!!!
