OUR RECENT EVENTS:

Raleigh Spring Premier Horse Show

We had a great time at the Raleigh Spring Premier Horse Show! We started off on Wednesday morning with a nice 2nd place finish for Jeanne & Finn in their new division, Country Pleasure. Jenny then took Parker Noble’s horse Squid for a spin and won the Open Walk and Trot Class.
The remaining sessions were just as successful, earning lots of top ribbons.
Alex Calisto and her road pony Heartland Cool Kid drove off with blue ribbons in the Open Road Pony qualifier and championship. This team has made a lot of progress over the winter, and we were excited to see them speeding around the ring for their victory passes.
Despite being sick with the flu, Brooklyn got in a blue-ribbon ride on her Country Pleasure horse, Our Northern Belle. Unfortunately, she wasn’t feeling up to showing in the championship class. This team has already earned top honors this year winning both classes at the ASAC horse show.
Melinda made her debut on Swing Man and is very excited to be back in the five gaited division with such a fun horse!
Ella and Cobain had top ribbons in what seems to be an always competitive division, juvenile show pleasure. This team continues to get better and is looking forward to their next show.
Parker showed her new horse in their debut to good ribbons in a very competitive walk & trot pleasure class. Her horse, CH Get Crackin , is a former world champion and has been a big step up for Parker. We are excited for the future of this new combination. Lauren and barn favorite Monnington Adaline made their debut in the Alpha class. It was Lauren‘s first time wearing a suit and showing out of Academy. They ended up reserve champions! Two of our best school horses got to make appearances in the show ring with Delaney showing Bentley to a reserve championship and Catie showing spree to a blue ribbon, both in equitation.

The ASAC Horse Show was great this year!

The weather was the best it’s been, the hospitality was top notch, exhibitors party was a blast, and the performances were great!
