The bloodstock brokerage Asia Pacific Bloodstock is a group of highly expereienced industry participants in the international racing industry dedicated to the brokerage of bloodstock business (thoroughbred racehorses) to the Asia Pacific Region.

Our clients are racehorse owners and breeders purchasing and selling thoroughbred horses throughout the Asia Pacific and include Singapore, Macau, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. We are also developing clients in South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.

The aim of this site is to give racehorse owners a brokerage where they can engage our experienced dedicated team of bloodstock brokers to source and broker a deal on the transaction of their choice.

Our combined knowledge of all international racing precincts will aid vendors' realising a sale at fair market value for prospects that meet purchasers' requirements.

If a horse you wish to sell fulfils the requirements of our client, the Asia Pacific Bloodstock broker attending to this sale will arrange the veterinary examination, financial transactions required and take charge of the horse on behalf of his client on completion of the sale.

SIDNEY ROBERTS

Asia Pacific Bloodstock welcomes Sidney Roberts to the APB team.

Sidney is an elite equestrian rider with wide experience in both equestrian pursuits and thoroughbred racing. Sidney's parents Dr Tim Roberts is a highly regarded equine veterinarian of over 40 years experience in thoroughbred racing and Cheryl Roberts, herself an equestrian rider in her earlier years, who for the past 6 years has been running the well regarded thoroughbred agistment and pre training farm Boynton Park at Broughton Vale, on the New South Wales south coast of Australia.

Sidney has joined the team at APB as a broker and will be attending yearling sales throughout Australia. Sidney well connected in the equestrian world in Australia also brings to APB the brokerage of pleasure and sporting horses.

STEVE HALLIWELL

Asia Pacific Bloodstock welcomes Steve Halliwell to the APB team.

Steve Halliwell has over 40 years experience in the thoroughbred industry. He is widely regarded as one of Australia's leading racing and form analysts. In 1988 Steve championed the role of Jockey management in Australia, managing some of Australia's leading Jockeys for 10 years. In 2001 he took on the role as General Manager of Best Bets magazine where after steering the company to record profits he moved into throughbred management. During the past 15 years Steve has worked with some of Australia's most successful owners, trainers and breeders consulting with advice on purchasing , selling and placing horses to maximise their potential for success. Steve has maintained a close professional association with selective high profile trainers and jockeys, he also has an extensive network of contacts and an array of professionals within the thoroughbred industry. With Steve's vast experience APB is now in a stronger position to identify potential and so improving our ability to secure horses from the Australian racing scene for both local and international clients. Steve will also be able to greatly assist in our team evaluating and identifying suitable European horses for importation into Australia.
