About Us
Helping Hearts Equine Rescue has been assisting at-risk and in-need equines since our incorporation January, 2008. In this time over 300 equines have entered our program. Many, Many have been placed in new homes and just as many have found final, safe, and loving placement at our facility to live out their remaining time – whether it be days, months or years. HHER has always taken in the “hard to place” less adoptable equines, those that don’t fit the modern business model of rescue. Currently, our barns and hearts are full of extremely senior and special needs horses, mules and donkeys.
Our Mission
At Helping Hearts Equine Rescue, our mission is to provide a safe haven for at-risk and in-need equines. We specialize in taking in the 'hard to place' less adoptable equines, ensuring they receive the care and love they deserve.
For fifteen years our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to find new homes for many of the equines in our program. Now, we focus on providing a final, safe, and loving placement for those deemed unadoptable -- "Super Seniors" and special needs equines.
