It is my goal to forget what is familiar
and pursue form with a fresh and curious desire.

Jeaneen Barnhart is dedicated to the art of drawing – creating works with an expressive classic style and delicate attention to detail. Her equine drawings can be seen at Cross Gate Gallery in Lexington, KY to Ralph Lauren’s Polo Bar in New York City. Her artwork has graced the sets of TV shows and movies on Lifetime, Hallmark, HBO, and ABC. Jeaneen has been licensed to create an ongoing collection of powerful drawings depicting 1973 Triple Crown champion Secretariat, the most recognized name in thoroughbred racing. Most recently, her art is featured on the Maker’s Mark/Keeneland Commemorative Bottle label for the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.

A Florida native, Jeaneen started painting at an early age along with her twin sister, Doreen. After receiving her BFA from Alfred University in NY, she joined her sister in Louisville, KY where they both reside. They have partnered on several projects together including the 2010 Kentucky Derby Commemorative Bottle for Woodford Reserve, five Kentucky Derby Festival Posters, and two St. James Court Art Show Posters. Charitable Event collaborations include the American Red Cross, Susan G. Komen, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Collectors and commissions include: Brown-Forman, Clarendon Flavors, GE, Papa John’s, Ralph Lauren, University of Kentucky and Valor Farm.
