The Equiery was deeply saddened to hear that Trish Gilbert passed away yesterday. Trish was an accomplished equestrian and, among her numerous accomplishments, she was instrumental in the founding of the Fair Hill International, served as an official for events all over the world, and mentored generations of riders. In 2022, the United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA) inducted Trish into the Hall of Fame. Read more about Trish and her accomplishments at equiery.com/usea-honors-trish-gilbert/

She touched so many lives. She will be missed. Prayers to her family.

Such a lovely lady and so knowledgeable a horse woman. A afternoon in her company was so enlightening and fun as she had a quick witt too.

May she rest in peace.

On April 8, the Maryland General Assembly passed legislation to implement the Maryland Thoroughbred Racing Authority‘s (MTROA) “Pimlico Plus” plan.
