At our premier destination, we provide a range of services, from Riding Lessons and Day Camps to Mentoring Programs and Horse Boarding. Our Services
Riding Lessons
We offer year-round riding lessons Monday through Saturday for youth and adults from beginner to advanced skill levels. The foundational basics taught are founded on key Dressage principles, which seamlessly apply to Western, Hunt, Saddleseat, and Dressage discipline pursuits. Some age, weight, and height restrictions may apply.
Horse Boarding
We care deeply about every horse that spends time at our beautiful property. We accept most breeds that are for pleasure, trail and showing however, some restrictions may apply. Stalled horses are handled daily and all horses have ample pasture play time. Regent Arabians is a Minnesota Horse Council Certified Stable and is located just a short hack from the amazing Crow Hassan Park Reserve. (Our facilities are not suited for gamers or jumpers.)
Day Camp & Mentoring Program
Horsemanship Mentoring for youth and adults is an ideal program for those who want to learn what it takes to own a horse, work with horses or just be a more confident and well-rounded horseman! In our mentoring program we teach horse nutrition, health, daily care and general barn operations. Students learn how to handle, groom, desensitize, train with groundwork and ride the most beautiful, intelligent, and athletic horse - the Arabian.

Our Horse Care Philosophy:
We love all our horses! Most are handled daily. They receive excellent proactive veterinary and farrier care. From foal to maturity we start them with groundwork and progress to riding. We begin with desensitizing, round-penning, free lunging, ground & cross-tying, grooming, clipping and trailering.

About the Owner
Kim McKimmy, daughter of Doug Peterson, a multiple-time Equestrian Mentor of the Year recipient, assumed the reins of Regent Arabians in April 2014. Kim is Owner, Coach & Equine Specialist of Regent Arabians. With over 50 years of horse owning & riding experience, Kim is dedicated to providing top-tier education, instruction and mentorship while nurturing Equestrians for Life. Her successful showing experience spans the local, regional, and national arenas in Saddleseat, Hunt, Western, Reining & Dressage.
In addition to leading Regent Arabians, Kim re-established the Saint Francis Center, in 2023. SFC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on innovative Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy & Learning Services. SFC is committed to helping people with mental health challenges and those seeking personal growth for improved mental health and life-changing skill development. Regent Arabian horse partners help foster the discovery of these skills through a profound connection between individual and horse.
