Things didn't go to plan with our runners yesterday.
At York, Sybaris Jewel found the occasion all too much, she got herself very wound up and was upset in the stalls, so it was game over before she started.
Jayvee on the otherhand, was too laid back and fell asleep in the stalls. She was soon detached, but kept on well in the final furlong, and another half a furlong it could possibly have been a different result.
Aintree's runner Salsada, was our unluckiest runner. She was in a lovely position and travelling well, when she was hampered by a faller and unseated Craig, her jockey. The good news is, they are both ok!
Today we are hoping for a change of luck, with 5 chances to get a winner on the board.
At Thirsk, we have Tryfan (3.45) Utilis (5.30) and Gidwa (6.02) who is having his first run for us today, whilst at Doncaster, we have The Dancing Poet (4.57) who is looking to follow up from his win at Musselburgh, (pictured right) and Power of Zeus who is the last of today's runners at 8.20 pm.
